STORM WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 9 PM CST
THURSDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.


* IMPACT...A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION WILL MAKE TRAVEL
  DANGEROUS ON THANKSGIVING. SOME AREAS...ESPECIALLY RURAL
  AREAS...MAY ALSO SEE POWER OUTAGES BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND
  EVENING DUE TO THE FREEZING RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS.

* PRECIPITATION TYPE...FREEZING RAIN WILL TRANSITION TO SLEET AND
  POSSIBLY SNOW.

* PRECIPITATION ACCUMULATION...ICE ACCUMULATION OF TWO TENTHS TO
  AROUND ONE THIRD OF AN INCH IS LIKELY FROM THE FREEZING
  RAIN...WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS EXPECTED SOUTHEAST OF A LINE
  FROM YORK TO SUPERIOR NEBRASKA. SNOW AND PRIMARILY SLEET
  ACCUMULATIONS UP TO ONE INCH ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN WILL BEGIN THURSDAY MORNING...BEFORE
  TRANSITIONING TO SLEET AND THEN MAYBE SNOW THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
  SOME AREAS MAY NEVER SEE THE TRANSITION OVER TO SNOW.

* UNCERTAINTY...ANY CHANGE IN THE TIMING OF THE ARRIVAL OF COLD
  AIR WILL AFFECT THE PRECIPITATION TYPE AND ACCUMULATIONS.

* WINDS...NORTHERLY 15 TO 20 MPH...GUSTING 25 TO 30 MPH.

* WIND CHILL...FALLING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS BY EARLY THURSDAY
  EVENING.
