Keller, who lives in Malcolm, was fishing below Gavins Point Dam on the Missouri River near Yankton, South Dakota, on Oct. 9 when he snagged a paddlefish that weighed 113 pounds, 4 ounces.

“It’s the biggest fish ever caught in Nebraska,” he said. “It’s just sinking in, kinda.” Keller said.
