He carries on the effort as co-chair of a petition drive to retain capital punishment in Nebraska. A group called “Nebraskans for the Death Penalty” has filed with the Secretary of State’s office, hopeful of gathering enough signatures to place the issue on the 2016 ballot. McCoy says the petition route wouldn’t be necessary if senators who favored the death penalty in their campaigns voted that way in the legislature.

Vincentini Plumbing does business under the name V & V Construction.
